Orion Property Development, Inc. (OPDI) is Prime Orion’s real estate arm with more than 50-hectares of property under it including the 15-hectare former tile manufacturing facility in Calamba, Laguna. Right now, the focus is to fully convert this prime real estate into an industrial complex. Currently, it has started serving the warehousing requirements of several companies and targets 100% utilization of the more than 70,000 sqm. of warehousing leasable area in the next three years. Similarly, this industrial complex business model will likewise be explored for OPDI’s other 31-hectare property in Sto. Tomas, Batangas.

The Company also has under it a 747-sqm. property in Calamba, operated as Trellis Pocket Centre, which is adjacent to its residential project, The Homelands Subdivision. The Trellis’ current tenant, Hap Chan Restaurant, has been leasing said property since 2010. OPDI also has a prime 639-sqm. area in J.P. Rizal along Makati Ave. in Makati City which is being considered for a mixed-use development.

In addition, OPDI also recently acquired a 5.8-hectare beachfront-property in San Vicente, Palawan and will continue to look into tourism-related initiatives moving forward.
